Wyssen USA team has worked with transportation departments and ski resorts to upgrade their tools for operational avalanche risk management. <\/br>Jamie will join the team in the role of CEO as of August 1st 2023.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e078afb elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Jamie Yount is a meteorologist and longtime avalanche professional with 20+years of mitigation and forecasting experience. Originally from Bozeman Montana, Jamie earned a degree in meteorology from the University of Utah in 2002 and started his avalanche career as an avalanche technician for the Wyoming Department of Transportation.  In 2017, he was hired as the avalanche program manager for the Colorado Department of Transportation and in 2019 was promoted to winter operations manager. At CDOT, Jamie managed a team that provided services to over 1200 employees, delivered high value projects, and provided critical weather information to a variety of stakeholders. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-71eabe2 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\"
