WAC.3® – Innovative operation proves itself in the very first winter
With the new web-based user interface WAC.3® Wyssen sets the new state of the art. However, the hardware, the control system in the Avalanche Tower was also newly developed. After a development period of almost two years, we have succeeded in offering a very reliable and extremely user-friendly system.
Thanks to the connection via mobile network (alternatively and back-up also radio), the plants are monitored around the clock. This enables a preventive fault service. The Wyssen Avalanche Tower was already considered the most reliable avalanche blasting system and is now even more reliable thanks to this option. We can contact customers today before there is a problem. The possibility of triggering several avalanche towers in parallel leads to an massive time saving in avalanche service. This is a great advantage, especially for securing traffic axes. Especially when avalanches have to be triggered above railroad lines, there are often only short time windows available due to the railroad timetable.The concept as a whole as well as the individual components including risk analysis were evaluated in a comprehensive TÜV expert opinion and positively evaluated.
